Me!
So I thought I would start with telling you all about myself.
I'm a mum, a fiance, and a lover for all things creative.
Being a Mum is the absolutely most amazing, best and draining experience ever. In everything I have ever created Eleanor is top. Obviously, she's my kid.
I always knew I wanted to be a mum. I was most definitely put on this earth to populate.
At 26 my ovaries were throbbing and at 27 I had Eleanor.
I wouldn't change her for the world. Except for her new habit of saving the biggest item of food on her plate. (A recent habit, which I hope goes away as quick as it started)
I love talking. There is always time to talk to someone whoever they may be. I do believe that in some peoples cases you may be the only person that other person Speaks to in a day. Dave my long suffering fiance says it is one of my best attributes. He knows he's home when he hear's my voice constantly. It bothers him more if I don't speak. Unfortunately Eleanor has also inherited this attribute. I say this loosely as she talks a lot more than me. Frankly some days it's draining.
My hobbies include Sewing and Drawing.
In a dream world I would love to make a living from these but with so much competition out there I don't feel I have a niche for either market. So in the meantime I just do my hobbies to relax.
Personality...
Hmmmm easy going. I definitely have a great sense of humour and rarely get up tight about anything or anyone. Honesty is the best policy but I will call you out if you upset me. Trust me Dave knows!
I work part-time in a vintage sweet shop. My hours fit perfectly around Eleanor and the school run. It also keeps me sociable and not in constant mum mode.
We purchased our family home in November 2017 and since then we have not stopped. Interior Design is my guilty pleasure. Again it must be the creative part of my constant frazzled brain. I'm already starting to fret what I'm going to do when all the rooms are completed.
I have been with my best friend/ love of my life for 14 years. We decided after 5 1/2 years being engaged we had better seal the deal. You could of knocked our parents over with a feather.
So we are currently sussing out wedding venues and are equally both being shocked at the price of a jug of squash for the children at the wedding. I would quite happily carry a bottle of Robinson's squash rather than a bouquet at this stage.
Last but not least if none of that wasn't stressful enough we are trying for our second child.
Am I bonkers?
I must be otherwise why would I do any of this?
Because I love my family and I love my life
